Step 1: Add 2 cups of fresh, clean cold water to the bottom reservoir tray.
Step 2: Nest the wick growing tray into the reservoir, making sure the wicks are submerged.
Step 3: Add 1 hemp growing mat to the wick tray and press down to saturate.
Step 4: Choose your desired seed packet and spread entire contents evenly over the mat.
Step 5: Cover the growing tray with plastic wrap to create a humidity dome, then cover with a kitchen towel to keep dark.
Step 6: Keep covered for 3 - 4 days or until roots are established and sprouts are about ½” tall.
Step 7: Uncover and remove plastic wrap, and expose to indirect sunlight.
Step 8: Rotate your tray daily when you notice your greens starting to reach or lean towards the window.
Step 9: Watch them grow! Your greens will be ready to harvest at 7 - 10 days. When ready, use scissors to trim the microgreens at the roots.
Note: The water in the reservoir should be sufficient for a single 8 - 10 day crop cycle. However, in warmer or dryer conditions you may need to monitor the water level and add more as needed. Wash and or bleach trays between uses.
